  Children: Trijntje, Leuntje, Jannetje, Cornelis, Leendert We do know from the various documents that the couple had at least four children. The children are witnesses to later events within the family, such as baptisms. Bart is mentioned in a document in 1624 with his brothers Dirck and Job and is given the nickname "Heystrate", a possible reference to his home near the Bergheijdeweg in Zuidwijk. Bart lives next to his brother Job and is a tenant of a house of the church of Wassenaar. He is still mentioned as a tenant in 1644 and therefore died after that year, but probably before 1649, because from that year on he is not mentioned in baptisms or marriages, while you would expect that at least once. Leuntje Gijsbertsdochter, the wife, mentioned in the will that she had drawn up together with her husband Bartholomeus in 1639.
