St. Paul Pioneer Press, Volume 66, Number 108, 18 April 1919: "Most everybody in and around Duluth either knows or has heard of John Roswold, the masquerade clothier living at 122 East First street. Mr. Roswold has been a resident of Duluth for thirty years. For twentysix years Mr. Roswold has been proprietor of a costume designing establishment and was one of the many heavy losers in the disastrous fire last fall."
