  The Dunn County News Thu, Jun 24, 1909 ·Page 1: Former Dunn Co. woman murdered "Recent disptaches from Duluth report the murder by Alvin Olson of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Otis Olson, aged 28 years, of Central park, Superior. Olson's deed was followed by his own suicide. The man cut the woman's throat with a knife with which he then severed his own jugular. Olson, who was a laborer, had been out of work for some time, and owed Mrs. Otis Olson for board and borrowed money. Mrs. Olson, the victim, was once a resident of Colfax, Dunn county. Ole Knutson, her brother, now lives at that place. Mrs. Olson was the mother of two small children."
