Notes - Colfax, Apr. 2 __ Services for Ole J. Olson, 92, were held Thursday at 2 o'clock at the Colfax Lutheran church with Rev. Theo. M. Moe officiating. Mr. Olson died Sunday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lynn Schwartz.
Mr. Olson was born Feb. 15, 1860 in Monsalver, Norway. At the age of 8 years he came with his parents to the United States, settling near Colfax on a farm.
He was united in marriage on Oct. 27, 1885, to Pauline Severson of Colfax, who preceded him in death in 1929. To this union 13 children were born, six having preceded him in death. He is survived by (Emma) Mrs. G. E. Berntsen, Luck; Mrs. Bertha Semingson, Colfax; (Hilda) Mrs. Chris Gjertson, Saskatchewan, Can.; James Olson, Luck; Eddie Olson, Colfax; Richard Olson, Buffalo, N. Y.; (Luella) Mrs. Lyn Schwartz, Colfax; also 24 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Interment was made in the village cemetery.
