1850 census for Johnstown, Rock, Wisconsin has Harvey and Elizabeth Babcock with their daughters Caroline (14) and Emma (11), plus three children Mary, Wm and George Mathews, 7, 5 and 2.

Emma married Lars Knudson, son of Knut Tolleivs. Noss and Turid Olsdtr. Rime, in 1858 in Monroe, Green, Wisconsin. (Lars Knudson was born on 3 Jun 1829 in Svenkerud, Nes and died on 5 Nov 1929 in Susanville, Lassen, CA, USA.)
