The Benefiels moved to Kentucky where George appears 1795 in the Scott Co. tax list, 1796 and 1797 in Bourbon County, but does not appear in further tax lists there.

He appears in the tax list for Montgomery County, Kentucky in 1799, 1801 and 1802.
