John attended 1st and 2nd in Dilworth, MN, 2-3 grade at Hawley, MN, 4-6at Washington Grade School north Broadway Fargo, ND. 7-9 grade at BenFranklin Fr. High School Fargo, ND one year of high school at FargoCentral two years at Fargo North High graduating in 1967. John is a 1971 graduate of NDSU with a major in Business Econ and Minor in History. He has been employed by Sears at West Acres, Fargo. He currently owns his own home improvement business called Price Rite.

Janet was born at St. Lukes Hospital Fargo ND. She received her elementary and high school education at Finley Public School. She attended one year of college at Mayville State College. The last threeyears were at the North Dakota State University in Fargo. She graduated in 1973 with a double major in home economics and nutrition. She did herdietetic internship in Portland, Oregon at University of Oregon MedicalSchool. She worked as therapeutic dietitian at St. Lukes Hospital Fargo, ND. On June 17, 1973 she married John Sliper at Hope Lutheran Church, Hope, ND. They live in West Fargo, ND
