He lived at the poor farm in Adams county from 1892, after living with his son Mike, for awhile. Mike got married a second time in 1891 and moved to Ohio.
His death record in 1903 states he was divorced.

Mary is with husband George and daughters Lydia and Sarah in French township, Adams, Indiana in the census of Oct 31st 1850.

In the Jun 25th 1860 census Mary Ann is in Nottingham, Wells, Indiana, living with her mother Margaret Weist, Lydia and Franklin (but not Sarah and Mary). In the household is also her brother Soloman Weist and soon to be husband, Walter J. Grosh.

In 1870 she lives with her sons Mike and John in French, Adams, Indiana.
