Frank Foss was married in 1914 in Sioux Falls to Mary Lacy, 1875-1962, worked on the Lacey farm. Had three children. One of them was Joseph (Joe) Foss, 1915-, he married June Shakstad in 1942 and later Donna Hall in Arizona. Joe Foss was a famous fighter pilot after the battle of Guadalcanal during WWII. He was later govenor of South Dakota before he moved to Arizona. Joe and June had the children Cheryl , Mary Jo and Frank. Source: Magne M. Nordgard.
