Obit from 1961: Mrs. Anna Dahlseide, 88, Dorintosh resident, died recently in Meadow Lake hospital. Funeral service conducted by Rev. J. Stanislav was held at Dorintosh and in Asquith United Church. Burial was made in Eagle Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Dahlseide was born in Norway and emigrated to North Dakota, where in 1897 she married Theodore Dahlseide, who predeceased her. They moved to the Asquith district in 1908, later going to Richard and then to Dorintosh. She is survived by seven sons: Alvin, Pierceland; Oden, North Bay; Carl, Asquith; Oscar, Dorintosh; Helmer, Victor and Kenneth, Dorintosh; two daughters: Myrtle, Mrs. Stanley Palmer, Fort St. John, B. C.; and Jennie, Mrs. Earl Bowers, Dorintosh; and four step-children: Mrs. K. T. Hoff, Saskatoon; Mrs. Mary MacKenzie, Edmonton; Mrs. Theo Hamre, Asquith; and Obed, Saskatoon.
